Geological Solutions are seeing Mineral Exploration Geologists for a diverse range of mineral exploration programmes spanning multiple commodities, geological settings and deposit types. Whether you're a Graduate building your field skills or an experienced Project Geologist looking for varied technical challenges, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to exploration programmes from fieldwork through to interpretation, target generation and drilling. Key responsibilities

The specific responsibilities will vary depending on your level of experience and the projects you are assigned to, but may include:

- Conducting geological fieldwork, including geological mapping, sampling and data collection across exploration programmes.

- Maintaining high-quality field records and documentation in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.

- Collecting, analysing and integrating geological data to develop and maintain technically sound geological models and datasets.

- Contributing to exploration strategy and target generation, including recommendations for drilling and geophysical surveys.

- Mentoring junior Geologists and, where applicable, supervising and coordinating Geologists, Field Technicians and third-party contractors, particularly at Senior Project Geologist level.

What we're looking for

Essential qualifications and experience

- Tertiary qualification in Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline (Bachelor’s degree minimum).

- Strong field geology skills and practical experience in exploration mapping, sampling and data collection.

- For Graduate levels: Recent completion of a geology degree with foundational knowledge in mineralogy,



structural geology and exploration techniques.

- For Intermediate to Senior Project levels: Increasing levels of technical competence and responsibility, with demonstrated experience across diverse mineral exploration programmes, commodities, geological settings and deposit types.

- Proven analytical, geological interpretation and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency with standard geological software and data management systems, with GIS competency highly regarded.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Current driver’s licence and willingness to undertake fieldwork in remote locations.

- Commitment to health, safety and environmental best practices.

Desirable experience and skills

- Demonstrated geological proficiency across a range of mineral commodities, geological settings and deposit types, with the ability to apply appropriate exploration techniques and geological interpretation to different mineral systems.

- Knowledge of Australian regional geology and mineral systems, with an understanding of their application to mineral exploration and target generation.

- GIS and 3D geological modelling experience, including competency with relevant software packages (please detail specific software).

- Demonstrated 4WD driving experience and/or recognised 4WD training, with the ability to operate safely and effectively in remote exploration environments.

- Previous experience in mineral resource estimation or mineral resource assessment (highly desirable).

- Professional membership with the AusIMM, AIG or equivalent professional body.
