Response Building Group is seeking an experienced Roofer to join our growing maintenance and projects team.

We are looking for someone with solid roofing experience who is also willing to learn new skills and work alongside our other trades across a variety of building maintenance and project works.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and doesn't want to spend every day doing the same type of work.

About the Role

Roofing will be a key part of your role, including:

- Roof repairs and maintenance

- Metal roofing and flashing repairs

- Gutter and downpipe repairs and replacement

- Roof leak investigation and fault finding

- Roof inspections and condition reporting

- Stormwater and drainage-related repairs

- Preventative roof maintenance

- Working safely at heights

However, this is not a roofing-only position.

As part of the Response Building Group team, you will also have the opportunity to assist and develop skills across:

- General building maintenance and repairs

- Carpentry and minor construction works

- Doors/Window hardware and fixtures

- Commercial and facility maintenance

- Mould remediation

- Minor demolition and make-safe works

- Other trade and maintenance activities

We don't expect you to already know how to do everything.

We're looking for someone who is competent in roofing, willing to learn and prepared to work as part of a multi-skilled team.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has demonstrated roofing experience

- Can confidently identify and repair common roofing issues

- Takes pride in their workmanship

- Can work independently and as part of a team

- Is willing to learn other trades and maintenance skills

- Has good problem-solving skills





- Can communicate professionally with clients and site representatives

- Is comfortable working across different sites and environments

- Understands the importance of safety, documentation and following procedures

- Is reliable, organised and willing to take responsibility for their work

Minimum Requirements

- Current Working at Heights ticket

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- White Card

- Relevant roofing experience

- Ability to obtain a National Police Check

- Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check

Additional licences, tickets, qualifications and trade skills will be highly regarded.
