About the role

Cafeideas is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant / Storeperson to join our warehouse team in Campbelltown. You will work closely with our Warehouse Manager and assist with the day-to-day running of the warehouse, including picking and packing customer orders, receiving stock, unloading containers, organising inventory and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. We supply commercial hospitality equipment and furniture, so the role involves handling a broad range of products including commercial kitchen equipment, chairs, tables, tabletops and other bulky items.

Key responsibilities

- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently

- Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations

- Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles

- Unload shipping containers and incoming stock

- Operate a forklift safely when receiving, moving and dispatching stock

- Check incoming deliveries against paperwork and report discrepancies or damage

- Organise and store stock correctly within the warehouse

- Prepare furniture and commercial equipment for dispatch

- Assist with palletising and wrapping interstate freight

- Keep warehouse aisles,



storage areas and workspaces clean, organised and safe

About you

- Current Australian forklift licence – essential

- Previous warehouse, storeperson or logistics experience preferred

- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting bulky or heavy products

- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a small team

- Good attention to detail when picking and checking orders

- Able to follow instructions and work independently when required

- Positive understanding of warehouse safety

- Reasonable level of physical fitness

- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a warehouse organised and running properly. You don't need to be sitting around waiting to be told what to do — if stock needs organising, an area needs cleaning or something needs preparing for dispatch, you're happy to get stuck in.

The right person will be reliable, practical, organised and comfortable working alongside our Warehouse Manager to keep orders and deliveries moving smoothly.
