The Venue
This newly opened European-inspired restaurant and wine bar brings together serious food, an exceptional wine program and energetic neighbourhood hospitality.
Created by an established Sydney hospitality group, the venue combines the warmth of a European bistro with polished, contemporary service. It is intimate, lively and personality-driven—a place where guests come for a complete dining experience rather than simply a meal.
With the venue now entering its next stage, the group is looking for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to help shape the culture, develop the team and build a strong base of loyal guests.

The Role
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position for someone who genuinely loves being on the floor.
Working closely with the Venue Manager, you will help lead daily service, guide the front-of-house team and ensure every guest receives warm, knowledgeable and memorable hospitality.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the floor across busy lunch and dinner services
- Coaching and developing a confident front-of-house team
- Creating genuine connections with guests and building regular clientele
- Managing reservations, sections and service flow
- Supporting rosters, labour management, stock control and daily reporting




- Maintaining strong food, beverage and service standards
- Handling guest feedback and service recovery professionally
- Supporting functions, activations and special events
- Contributing ideas as the venue continues to establish itself

About You
You may already be an Assistant Venue Manager, or you could be an experienced Restaurant Supervisor ready for greater responsibility.
You will ideally bring:

- Leadership experience within premium dining, wine bars or quality restaurants
- A warm, confident and engaging approach to hospitality
- Strong floor awareness and the ability to stay composed during busy services
- A genuine interest in food, wine and creating memorable guest experiences
- The confidence to coach a team and lead by example
- Sound operational knowledge, including rosters, labour and stock control
- A team-oriented, hands-on leadership style
- Full working rights in Australia
