The Role

We're looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join our finance team, reporting directly to the CFO. You'll own month-end close and monthly group consolidation across our four entities, manage intercompany transactions and eliminations, and get hands-on with project accounting for our commercial operations.

This isn't a role where you'll be boxed into one narrow function — you'll work closely with the CFO across the full finance function, with real scope to shape how things are done as we grow. For the right candidate, this role offers a genuine opportunity to progress into a Financial Controller position as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

● End-to-end month-end close across 4 entities

● Monthly group consolidation (manual/Excel-based) incl. intercompany eliminations

● Project accounting — WIP, cost tracking, margin analysis

● Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity

● Assist with statutory accounts, tax compliance (BAS/FBT) and audit

● Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting





● Business partner with operations and project teams

About You

● 4-5 years' experience in financial/group accounting, ideally manufacturing or project-based

● CPA qualified or actively studying towards CPA/CA

● Proven multi-entity consolidation and intercompany experience

● Advanced Excel skills essential

● Experience working with Xero and Salesforce

● Ambitious and keen to grow into a Financial Controller role over time, should the opportunity arise

● Robust communicator, comfortable business-partnering with non-finance stakeholders
