About the role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, being outdoors, and getting involved in all aspects of a busy nursery environment. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, providing excellent service, working outdoors, and staying active in a practical, fast-paced environment.

About you

- Previous retail experience is essential

- Previous experience working in a garden centre, nursery, or horticultural environment is highly desirable

- A genuine interest in plants, gardening, and horticulture

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

- The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team

- Positive physical fitness, with the ability to lift, move, water, and care for plants and pots

- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping the nursery clean, tidy, and visually appealing

- Availability to work 4–5 days per week, with 8am–5pm shifts, including regular weekends
