Training Support Officer Clerk Grade 3/4

Location: State Headquarters / Wollongong

Full-Time Ongoing

- Opportunity to support the delivery coordination and administration of Incident Management training programs, workshops and exercises.
- Ongoing fulltime role with flexible working options available, noting that a minimum of 3 full days in State Headquarters is required.
- Work in a volunteer-based agency support communities of NSW.

About the Chance

As a Training Support Officer, you will provide administrative, logistical and project support services that enable the effective operation of the Incident Management Training Team. You will work with a broad range of stakeholders, coordinate training activities, maintain learner records and contribute to projects that support organisational capability development.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating training courses, workshops, meetings and events.
- Managing participant enrolments, learner records and training data.
- Preparing reports, correspondence, briefing materials and training documentation.
- Providing stakeholder liaison and responding to enquiries from members and trainers.
- Supporting project activities, research and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate records and databases across organisational systems.
- Coordinating travel, venues, resources and training logistics.

About You

We are looking for a motivated individual who:

- Has experience providing administrative and project support to busy teams.
- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Enjoys building positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Is passionate about supporting learning, development and operational capability.
- Has knowledge of AIIMS principles and incident management practices, or a willingness to develop competence in this area.
