About us
Are you ready to lead a team, shape a culture, and leave your mark on a centre children and families genuinely love? We are seeking an inspiring Centre Manager for our centre known for its long-serving, tight-knit educator team and deep family relationships.
We do things differently. We stay small on purpose, so every child is known and every family feels at home. In this role, you'll lead a handpicked team of passionate educators, champion our commitment to reconciliation and inclusion, and help our centre continue to thrive as a place where children build a genuine love of learning.
About the role
As Centre Manager at our centre, you will:
- Provide leadership and day-to-day management of the centre — overseeing educators, compliance, operations, enrolments, and administration.
- Mentor and support a team of educators; promote a team-oriented, positive work culture.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and quality standards (e.g. regulatory frameworks, centre policies, health & safety).
- Foster strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
- Drive continuous improvement — including staff development, program quality, and centre growth.
- Manage enrolments, budgets, resources, staffing and reporting as required
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent qualification), or an Advanced Diploma/Qualification in Early Childhood Services.
- Have proven leadership experience in an early childhood education setting
- Strong knowledge of National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), early childhood curriculum frameworks, child development, and regulatory requirements relevant to Queensland childcare.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills — able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma training
- Required Blue Card / Working With Children clearance for QLD
This is your chance to lead a centre with heart. If you're ready to bring your leadership, warmth and vision to a team that's ready for it, we want to meet you.
Send us your resume and a short cover letter telling us why you're the right fit!
