We're looking for an experienced high reach forklift operator to join a cold storage company at their Rocklea facility, working across both chilled/freezer and ambient areas.

This is reach work — 5 high, double deep racking. If you're confident placing and retrieving a pallet in the back position at height without touching the racking, we want to hear from you.

Start times are flexible: 7am–3pm or 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday. Pick whichever suits your commute or your family.

This starts as a casual assignment, but the client has a strong record of making good operators permanent.

What you'll be doing

- Operating a high reach forklift — put-away and retrieval, 5 high, double deep
- Working across chilled/freezer and ambient areas throughout the shift
- Replenishing stock and keeping stock available for the pick team
- Inbound receipting, put-away and staging pallets for dispatch
- RF scanning — stock movements, locations and transfers
- Stock accuracy work — cycle counts and location checks
- Pre-start checks, battery swaps or charging, and reporting damage or faults
- Keeping aisles transparent, racking undamaged and the site safe

What you'll need

- Current LF (forklift) High Risk Work Licence
- Proven high reach experience




- Demonstrated double deep experience at height — this is the core of the job
- Comfortable working in cold conditions (chiller ~2–4°C, freezer [TEMP]) as well as ambient
- Accuracy and care — at 5 high, mistakes damage stock, racking and people
- Reliability — on site, on time, every day. It's what gets people made permanent here.
- Full working rights in Australia
- Access to reliable transport

A bonus, not essential:

- LO (order picker) licence
- Experience in cold storage, food, produce, pharma or 3PL
- Food safety or HACCP awareness
- Racking inspection or safety awareness training
