At Airservices Australia, we're building a Technical & Trades Talent Pool to support future technology initiatives, operational requirements and approved vacancies across our Airspace, Aerodrome and Enterprise Technology environments.

We're looking to connect with skilled trades and technical professionals who enjoy solving technical problems, working in operational environments and helping keep critical systems running safely and reliably.

The talent pool may support future technician, technical specialist, leadership and trade-based opportunities across Australia's aviation network.

The Opportunity

Opportunities may support technology used in air traffic management environments, airport towers, communications networks, operational facilities and enterprise technology environments across Australia.

Depending on the opportunity, your work may involve:

- Maintaining, repairing and supporting critical systems and technology
- Troubleshooting faults and restoring services when disruptions occur
- Supporting communications, networking, infrastructure and operational technology environments
- Conducting preventative maintenance, inspections, testing and system upgrades
- Installing, configuring and commissioning technical equipment and supporting infrastructure
- Responding to incidents and technical issues in operational environments
- Identifying opportunities to improve system reliability, availability and performance
- Working closely with operational and technical teams to support safe, continuous service delivery




- Leading technical teams and coordinating maintenance or project activities (leadership roles)

Opportunities may support technology used in air traffic management environments, airport towers, communications networks, operational facilities and enterprise technology environments across Australia.

About You

We're interested in hearing from people who have experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Maintaining, repairing and supporting critical systems and technology
- Troubleshooting faults and restoring services
- Communications, networking, infrastructure or operational technology environments
- Working in 24/7 or operational environments
- Technical maintenance, field service, installation or system support activities

You may come from aviation, telecommunications, defence, transport, utilities, mining, emergency services, infrastructure or technology sectors.

A trade qualification or a Diploma in a relevant technology-related field will be highly regarded. Equivalent industry experience, technical trade qualifications and demonstrated technical capability will also be considered.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively and taking pride in delivering reliable operational outcomes.
