About the Role

As the Men’s Service Coordinator, you will lead and develop the Goldfields Men’s Service, providing culturally responsive support for men across the region.

Based at Mara Pirni Healing Place in Kalgoorlie, you will lead a team delivering case management, behaviour change, wellbeing, healing, and community-based programs that promote accountability, healthy relationships, and family safety.

Working alongside men, families, communities, Aboriginal organisations, and partner agencies, you will strengthen pathways to support, facilitate healing and behaviour change, and contribute to the prevention of family and domestic violence.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the Men’s Service outreach, education, healing, and behaviour change programs.
- Providing day-to-day leadership, supervision, workload coordination, and professional development for the Men’s Healing Collective team.
- Supporting culturally safe, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and accountable practice.
- Building strong community partnerships and referral pathways across health, justice, legal, and social services.
- Representing the Men’s Service at relevant networks, forums, interagency meetings, and the Hub Operations Committee.
- Coordinating program planning, delivery, evaluation, reporting,



and continuous improvement.
- Maintaining accurate client records, service data, and reporting in line with organisational and Department of Communities requirements.
- Identifying service gaps and supporting new initiatives, funding opportunities, and community education activities.

You’ll Need

- Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Aboriginal Health, or a related discipline are desirable, and/or significant relevant experience.




- Demonstrated experience leading and supervising teams within a community services setting.
- Experience working with men, families, and communities affected by family and domestic violence, including people who use violence and victim-survivors.
- Demonstrated cultural knowledge and experience working respectfully with Aboriginal people, families, communities, and diverse population groups.
- Strong communication, leadership, facilitation, community engagement, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience applying trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practice.
- Experience developing partnerships and referral networks across community, health, justice, and social services.
- Understanding of case management, confidentiality, information sharing, and professional boundaries.
- Experience with the WA Family and Domestic Violence Common Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework is desirable.

Pre-employment requirements

- Current C or A Class Driver’s Licence.
- National Police Clearance / Police Certificate within the required timeframe.
- Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
