About the role

Launch your career and join our supportive team delivering patient-centred care providing physiotherapy assessment, treatment, education and health promotion to neonates, women, children and adolescent. This position is a part of the Physiotherapy Department rotating staff system and may work across all areas of the health service with opportunities to develop your skills.

Key duties of the role

- Assess, analyse and interpret patient presentations




- Select appropriate management techniques including appropriate education, instruction and documentation for patients, families and other professionals
- Attendance and active participation at ward rounds, clinical meetings and case conferences
- Contribute to the planning and evaluation of physiotherapy and multidisciplinary services
- Identify and manage risk within the area of responsibility

Skills and Experience

- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work under defined timeframes and to demonstrate effective time management.
- Knowledge of relevant community resources related to the health and welfare of adolescents, children, and their caregivers.
