HomeGround Real Estate Sydney is a licensed real estate agency and social enterprise owned by Bridge Housing. We partner with developers, investors, asset owners and housing providers to deliver professional property management services while increasing access to affordable housing across Sydney.

With significant portfolio growth planned over the coming months and years, HomeGround is entering an exciting new phase. We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded leader to drive the agency's growth, strengthen strategic partnerships and position the business for long-term success.

The Opportunity

As the Licensee in Charge of HomeGround Real Estate Sydney, you will provide strategic leadership for the agency's growth, commercial performance and operational success.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Homes, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team across property management, leasing and trust accounting while driving business development, customer outcomes and financial sustainability. You will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the agency, strengthening its market position and ensuring the highest standards of governance, compliance and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the strategic direction, growth and performance of HomeGround Real Estate Sydney.
- Drive business development opportunities and build partnerships that strengthen the agency's market presence and reputation.
- Oversee all aspects of agency operations,



including property management, leasing and trust accounting.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, regulatory, governance and risk management obligations.
- Deliver strong financial and operational outcomes through effective planning, reporting and performance management.
- Represent HomeGround across the real estate, housing and development sectors, building relationships with developers, investors, asset owners and other key stakeholders.

About You

You are an experienced real estate leader with a robust commercial mindset and a proven track record of leading business growth, operational excellence and high-performing teams.

You will bring:

- Significant senior leadership experience within real estate, property management, Build to Rent, community housing or another large-scale residential environment.
- Experience leading growth, mobilisation, transformation or operational improvement initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budget management, revenue performance, leasing, occupancy and operational sustainability.
- Demonstrated success developing strategic partnerships and managing senior stakeholder relationships.
- Proven ability to lead, develop and inspire multidisciplinary teams while building capability and accountability.
- Experience establishing or improving operating models,



service delivery frameworks and performance reporting.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills supported by exceptional communication and stakeholder management capability.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer outcomes while maintaining strong governance, compliance and operational standards.

A current NSW Estate Agent Licence is essential.

Experience in Build to Rent, affordable housing, community housing or large-scale residential portfolios will be highly regarded.
