The Visiting Medical Officer (Anaesthesia) works with the surgical multidisciplinary team in providing excellent patient care within Calvary Mater Newcastle to maximise health outcomes for the community.

About you

- A Primary Medical Degree registrable by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Australia & Current Zealand College of Anaesthetists
- Demonstrated capacity in efficient and effective patient management
- Commitment to undergraduate and post graduate teaching in medicine, nursing and allied health
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement
- Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development
