About the role

SG Tiling is seeking a Tilers Labourer to join our team in Paradise, SA. This is a casual Sub Contact position that offers flexibility whilst supporting our skilled tilers on various tiling projects. We are looking for someone to work with us though to December 2026, with a view for ongoing work in 2027. As a Tilers Labourer, you will play an essential role in ensuring project efficiency and maintaining high standards of workmanship across our residential and commercial tiling contracts.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing work areas by removing debris, old tiles, and adhesive from surfaces

- Mixing and preparing tile adhesives, grouts and other materials according to specifications

- Assisting tilers with positioning, alignment and installation of tiles

- Cutting and shaping tiles under guidance to fit specific areas and patterns

- Cleaning and grouting tiles to achieve qualified finishes

- Moving and handling heavy materials, tools and equipment safely on site

- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards

- Supporting multiple tilers on different projects as required

What we're looking for

- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in various conditions, including standing for extended periods and working at heights

- Willingness to learn and assist experienced tilers in developing practical tiling skills

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards

- Reliable and punctual with a positive work ethic





- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in compliance with workplace health and safety regulations

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Valid driver's license is advantageous for site mobility

- Previous labouring experience in the building trades is preferred but not essential

- Must hold a valid drivers licence and be willing to travel

- Hold a current white card
