We are searching for a casual duty manager with knowledge in venue operations, gaming, food, beverage, and people management. The role is suited to someone who has a passion for hospitality and can demonstrate how to lead the team and be an integral part of taking it to the next level.

This is a casual position that includes days, nights, public holidays, and weekend work. A healthy work/life balance is encouraged.

The Role
As a Duty Manager your key focuses will include:

- Leading a medium sized team and ensuring they are consistently delivering a quality customer experience





- Setting the example for your team and driving a strong positive culture

- Maintaining cost controls as well as working with the team on sales-driving initiatives

- Overseeing all bar, gaming, event and food service whilst on shift.

Successful candidates will possess:

- A strong focus on maintaining and driving service standards whilst increasing growth and return visitation to the venue

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a hands-on management style

- A customer focus, always aiming to provide exceptional customer service

- A solid background in all facets of hotel operations, including gaming, F&B;, functions & cellar areas

- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

- Great attention to detail

- Excellent personal presentation and communication skills

- Strong cash handling skills
