We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Assistant/Forklift operator to join our team in a busy Scrap metal yard in Welshpool. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient yard space, ensuring that all tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and accessible. Responsibilities:

- Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper storage

- Help with yard maintenance tasks such as cleaning and waste disposal

- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment

- Support team members with general yard duties as needed

- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations

Qualifications:





- Previous experience in yard work, or similar roles is a plus, but not required

- Hold a current forklift ticket

- Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical labor

- Good organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours

- Previous experience in a scrap metal workplace

Monday to Friday with some Saturday's depending on work load.
