About this role

We are seeking a Senior Manager or Director with strong technical knowledge to join our Private Enterprise Tax Advisory practice and become a trusted advisor to some of Australia's most successful business owners, family groups, private investors, and family offices.

The successful candidate will combine deep expertise with commercial judgement, leadership skills, and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships. You will work directly with business owners, family principals, trustees, executives, lawyers, bankers and other key stakeholders on some of the most complex private client issues in the market.

Working directly with a highly accomplished and well-known tax expert Partner, this opportunity would suit a self-driven individual looking to propel their career to the next level, building their own brand and leveraging their business development skills on a clear pathway to Partnership. You will also be expected to operate as a senior technical leader within the practice, while nurturing the growth of the next generation of advisors.

Key responsibilities

You will lead and oversee complex advisory engagements involving:

- Family business groups





- High-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients

- Family offices

- Private investment groups

- Trust structures

- Estate and succession planning

- Cross-border taxation matters

- Private capital transactions

- Philanthropic and not-for-profit structures

Skills and experience

- Qualification(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)

- CA / CPA / CTA qualified, and / or other relevant industry accreditation(s)

- Strong Australian tax technical knowledge and experience

- Diverse business advisory experience (including private businesses, family groups, and high-net worth individuals), leading the delivery of high-quality and robust strategic projects

- Highly-developed interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with and influence stakeholders at all levels of client organisations

- Significant people management and leadership capabilities, with genuine care for your people
