About the role

36 Personnel has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fibreglass Repair Technician to join a busy workshop team in South-West Brisbane. This role will see you carrying out fibreglass repairs, modifications, surface preparation and finishing work on specialised vehicles. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working within a quality-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out fibreglass repairs and modifications

- Repair damaged panels and vehicle components

- Sand, fill and prepare surfaces for finishing

- Complete body preparation and paint prep work

- Use fibreglass materials, fillers and repair products

- Conduct quality inspections on completed work

- Work closely with production and workshop teams

- Maintain workshop tools and equipment

- $48 - $50 per hour casual + penalties

- Immediate start available

- Monday to Friday roster

- Early finish every Friday

Requirements

- Previous fibreglass repair experience

- Experience with sanding, filling and surface preparation

- Paint preparation experience highly regarded

- Strong attention to detail

- Reliable and safety-conscious attitude
