MEGT and Honeywell are looking for a 1st Year Security Equipment Installation Apprentice based in Darwin!

This customer-focused apprenticeship provides the opportunity to develop skills in understanding and addressing customer needs while gaining hands-on experience within the electronic security industry.

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a unique chance to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in:

- Install it - Assisting with CCTV, alarms and electronic access control.
- Configure it - Security hardware, software and systems.
- Fix it - Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
- Test it - Commission systems and make sure they work.
- Master the tech - Learn a range of electronic security products and solutions.
- Support customers - Build valuable communication and customer service skills.
- Do it right - Work safely, follow industry standards and keep accurate records.
- Get qualified - Combine hands-on experience with TAFE training to build your career.

What are we looking for?

- Demonstrated interest in Electronics and computers
- Be willing to commit to the completion of a four-year apprenticeship
- Completion of year 12 or similar previous work experience
- High level of Communication skills
- Drivers Licence
- Able to travel interstate as required
- Be able to pass a full medical check including drug & alcohol testing
- Ability to pass a NV1 Clearance
