We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Teachers to join our Junior School team in one of two temporary full-time maternity leave positions. These roles offer an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners while becoming part of a cooperative and supportive Christian community.

Contract 1: Term 1 and Term 2 - 2027 / Contract 2: Term 1 to Term 4 - 2027

About the Role

The Junior School Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective learning experiences while fostering a positive and supportive classroom culture. The successful applicant will be passionate about teaching, dedicated to student wellbeing and committed to working collaboratively with colleagues and families to achieve positive outcomes for students.

Key responsibilities include:

- Planning, delivering and evaluating high-quality teaching and learning programs.

- Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

- Supporting the wellbeing and pastoral care of students.

- Monitoring student progress and providing timely feedback.

- Building positive partnerships with parents and caregivers.

- Collaborating effectively with colleagues to support student outcomes.

- Actively contributing to the Christian life and culture of the College.

About You





You are a passionate educator who values relationships and believes in the potential of every child. You enjoy working collaboratively, are committed to inclusive teaching practices, and seek to create positive learning experiences that support student growth and success. You will:

- Hold current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.

- Demonstrate effective classroom teaching practices in a Junior School setting.

- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

- Show a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and development.

- Be eager to contribute positively to a collegial and supportive staff culture.

- Support and uphold the Christian ethos and values of the College.
