Job Description

West HQ is seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to architect, maintain, and enhance our mission‐critical ICT environment. This role is hands on, highly technical, and central to the stability, security, and performance of our infrastructure.

You'll lead networking, server management, cloud services, security, and incident response across a high‐availability, multi‐venue setting. If you thrive solving complex engineering challenges and improving infrastructure environments end‐to‐end, we want to hear from you.

About the role:

n

n
- Design, support, and optimise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi‐Fi, VPN, routing, switching, firewalls).
n
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualisation, and storage systems.
n
- Lead P1/P2 incident response and provide Level 3 engineering support.
n
- Manage patching, lifecycle upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
n
- Maintain network and systems security, including vulnerability remediation.
n
- Deliver infrastructure projects from design through implementation.
n
- Work with vendors, carriers,



and MSPs on complex technical resolutions.
n

About You:

n

n
- 5+ years in Network Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
n
- Advanced networking experience (Cisco/Meraki/Aruba or equivalent).
n
- Strong background in AD, Windows Server, virtualisation, and backup platforms.
n
- Proven experience leading major incidents.
n
- Excellent diagnostic, documentation, and communication abilities.
n
- Certifications (CCNA/CCNP/AZ‐104/MS‐500) are highly regarded.
n
- Certifications in a project management methodology i.e. Agile, PMP, PMBoK, Prince2.
n
