A friendly small animal veterinary clinic in Nundah, Brisbane is looking for an experienced Locum Veterinary Nurse to assist with a number of shifts throughout September.

There are eight dates currently available, all with convenient 9:00am – 4:00pm hours.

You absolutely do not need to be available for every shift. Whether you can help with one day, a handful of dates or the majority of the month, we’d love to hear from you.

Available Shifts

- Thursday 17 September | 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Thursday 24 September | 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday 25 September | 9:00am – 4:00pm

The Role

You’ll be joining an established small animal GP clinic and supporting the veterinary team with general day-to-day nursing duties.





We’re looking for a nurse who can comfortably step into a new clinic environment and assist the team where needed throughout the day.

Ideally, You’ll Be Comfortable With

- General small animal veterinary nursing
- Surgical nursing and patient monitoring
- Patient admissions and discharges
- Hospital patient care
- General treatment and nursing duties
- Working as part of a busy GP team
- Communicating confidently with vets, nurses and clients

Flexibility

Availability for individual dates is absolutely welcome, so please don’t rule yourself out if you can’t cover the entire September roster.

If you have regular Thursday or Friday availability throughout September, this could also be a great prospect to pick up several shifts with the same clinic.
