$120K-$190K package incl. super | Based on PAE

About the Role

We are seeking a Lawyer, Associate or Senior Associate (2-7 years PAE) to join our growing Civil Liability team.

Depending on your experience and interests, you will work across our Asbestos, Public Liability and/or Medical Negligence practice areas. We are also keen to hear from lawyers with WorkCover or broader personal injury backgrounds who have common law experience and are looking to transition into civil liability practice.

You will manage your own matters, work closely with highly experienced practitioners and be exposed to complex litigation that delivers meaningful outcomes for clients.

Duties

Manage a diverse file load of asbestos, public liability and/or medical negligence matters

Provide strategic legal advice and exceptional client service

Draft pleadings,



court documents, correspondence, submissions and settlement materials

Represent clients at mediations, conferences and court hearings

Develop relationships with clients, medical experts, unions and other key stakeholders

Skills & Experience

2-7 years post-admission experience in personal injury, civil litigation or a related practice area

Experience managing common law claims is essential

Experience in asbestos, public liability, medical negligence and/or WorkCover is highly regarded

Strong drafting, advocacy and negotiation skills

Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities

A genuine passion for plaintiff law and helping people achieve justice
