About the role
Looking for variety, flexibility and the opportunity to develop your Occupational Therapy skills across a broad range of clinical settings? This rotational position within Community and Oral Health offers exposure to community rehabilitation, hospital substitution services and sub-acute care, providing a unique opportunity to build capability across the continuum of care while supporting consumers to achieve meaningful functional outcomes. Working as part of a team-oriented multidisciplinary team, you will deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy services to adults with diverse and often complex health needs. Rotations may include community-based rehabilitation, Hospital in the Home, Geriatric Evaluation and Management in the Home, post-acute services and bed-based rehabilitation programs, allowing you to develop broad clinical experience while contributing to high-quality, person-centred care.
About you
- Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services across a variety of community and sub-acute healthcare settings, applying evidence-based practice and sound clinical reasoning.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability while working across changing caseloads, service locations and multidisciplinary team environments.
- Work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers and healthcare professionals to support goal-focused,
person-centred care and positive health outcomes.
- Contribute to student supervision, quality improvement activities and service development initiatives that enhance Occupational Therapy and allied health services.
- Actively engage in professional development, clinical supervision and reflective practice to build knowledge, skills and clinical expertise.
