At Andaz Gold Coast, the little details make a big impression. Our Handyperson helps keep the hotel looking cared for, working beautifully and ready for whatever the day brings.

We're looking for a practical, reliable Handyperson to join our Engineering team. You'll support the upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas, responding to maintenance requests and helping create a safe, comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.

What you'll do

- Complete general repairs and maintenance across the hotel
n
- Assist with painting, patching, carpentry, tiling and basic plumbing tasks
n
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
n
- Support preventative maintenance programs
n
- Keep guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces in excellent condition
n
- Work safely and follow all relevant procedures
n
- Liaise with colleagues and contractors to resolve issues efficiently
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional work area
n

Qualifications

What you'll bring

- Previous experience in a handyperson, maintenance or facilities role
n
- Practical skills across general building and property maintenance
n
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
n
- Good communication and time-management skills
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- A commitment to safety and quality
n
- Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends when required
n
- Trade qualifications are valued but not essential
n
- Must already have ongoing and current working rights for Australia
n
