An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Sous Chef to join a busy, high-volume kitchen team on a permanent basis.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a chef who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys being part of a strong, all-rounder kitchen team. You'll work alongside an experienced brigade, take an active role across multiple sections and help drive consistent food quality, service standards and kitchen performance.

This role is ideal for a Sous Chef looking to step up their leadership skills while remaining hands-on in the kitchen.

The Role:

n

n
- Lead and support day-to-day kitchen operations across busy pub service
n
- Work hands-on across multiple sections, with particular strength on the grill
n




- Coordinate the kitchen team during high-volume service
n
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion control
n
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance
n
- Mentor and develop junior chefs and kitchen staff
n
- Help foster a positive, team-focused kitchen culture
n

What We're Looking For:

n

n
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a pub, casual dining or high-volume environment
n
- Strong ability to perform under pressure during busy service periods
n
- Confident across multiple kitchen sections, particularly the grill
n
- Strong leadership and communication skills
n
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior kitchen staff
n
- Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and quality standards
n
