The Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and management to educators and staff regarding all aspects of the operation of the service in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures. This role involves liaising closely with the Group Operations Manager/Approved Provider, supporting educators and staff with professional training and mentoring, and ensuring the service maintains high quality care and education standards.

Key responsibilities

- Follow Kiddie Academy Policy and Procedures Manual and adhere to the standards of Kiddie Academy Philosophy and Statement of Philosophy
- Share responsibility in ensuring Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) of the Centre
- Abide by, conduct and evaluate all standards in the National Quality Framework and Quality Improvement plan
- Manage educators and administrative duties relating to educators, casuals, volunteers and students
- Monitor Working with Children Checks for all Educators, casuals, volunteers and students
- Provide qualified leadership and development to staff
- Hold meetings, development and programs and management of the Centre
- Responsible for the overall management and administration of the service
- Implement and evaluate centre's goals
- Monitor and manage the centre's CCS claims
- Responsible for all fees and financial duties and ensure all spending is in line with the annual budget

About you

- Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA), or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)




- Current Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting qualification
- Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Accredited Child Protection Training
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Nominated Supervisor position in an Early Childhood Service or Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership position in an Early Childhood Service
- Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, team leadership and management of staff
- Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
- Demonstrated knowledge of service's requirements of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) system and ability to perform software application for compliance
- Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for an early education and care service
