What you'll be doing

You'll work across a varied portfolio of clients and be involved in:

- Preparing financial statements for small and medium-sized businesses across a range of entity types
- Preparing and lodging income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
- Preparing and lodging quarterly BAS
- Reconciling Xero files and completing general bookkeeping duties
- Assisting with SMSF accounting and taxation matters, where applicable
- Responding to day-to-day accounting and taxation queries and providing practical support to clients
- Liaising with the ATO on behalf of clients
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
- Assisting with general practice administration as required

What we're looking for We're looking for an Accountant who is technically capable, personable and genuinely enjoys working with clients.





You'll ideally have

- At least 1 year of experience in Business Services or Tax Accounting
- Experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns across multiple entity types
- Experience working withXero Practice Manager and Xero Ledger
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to deal directly with clients
- A friendly, professional and approachable manner
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine focus on client service

Experience with SMSFs and BGL will be highly regarded, but is not essential. Why join?
