Active Directory SME | 6-Month Contract | Sydney

- Duration: 6 months
- Location: Sydney
- Rate: Up to AUD $820 per day inc super

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory SME for a six-month contract opportunity in Sydney. Working within a complex enterprise environment, you will lead the analysis and remediation of Active Directory vulnerabilities. You will partner with Infrastructure, Security, Identity and Access Management, Server, and Application teams to strengthen the organisation’s overall Active Directory security posture.

Key responsibilities

- Analyse and prioritise Active Directory vulnerabilities identified through security assessments and vulnerability management tools
- Conduct root cause analysis and assess the security, operational, and business impact of reported vulnerabilities
- Develop remediation plans and detailed Standard Operating Procedures
- Lead remediation activities across Domain Controllers, Group Policies, Privileged Accounts, Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP,



and wider Active Directory infrastructure
- Coordinate remediation with Infrastructure, Security, IAM, Server, and Application teams
- Validate remediation through testing, rescanning, evidence collection, and compliance reporting
- Provide technical guidance, governance, and continuous improvement recommendations
