Description
Brand-current centre. Brand-current team. Your opportunity to build something incredible from the very beginning. Thrive Early Learning Centres is opening our brand-new, purpose-built Mount Evelyn centre, and we’re building an amazing team to bring it to life.
This isn’t just another opportunity to join an established service. You’ll be part of the foundation team — helping shape the culture, environments, routines and experiences that children and families will know Thrive Mount Evelyn for.
We’re recruiting across ALL roles!
Whether you’re an experienced early childhood leader or beginning your career in the sector, we’d love to hear from you.
Opportunities include:
- Centre Leader
- Assistant Centre Leader
- Educational Leader
- Early Childhood Teachers
- Room Leaders
- Diploma Qualified Educators
- Certificate III Educators
- Trainees / Educators working towards their qualification
- Casual Educators
- Cook / Kitchen roles
Why Mount Evelyn?
There’s something pretty special about opening the doors to a completely current centre. You’ll walk into brand-new, purpose-built learning environments and have the opportunity to help turn those spaces into somewhere children genuinely belong.
We’re looking for people who want to get involved — whether that’s messy play, outdoor adventures, creating beautiful learning environments, bringing a new idea to the team or simply sharing plenty of laughs with the children.
Most importantly, we want to build a team that enjoys coming to work together.
You’ll have the opportunity to contribute your ideas,
establish strong relationships with children and families from day one and help create the culture of Thrive Mount Evelyn rather than stepping into one that has already been established.
For our leaders, it’s an exciting opportunity to build and develop a team from the ground up. For our educators, it’s a chance to find your place within a new service, contribute your strengths and grow alongside the centre.
What you could be doing
Your responsibilities will depend on your role and qualification, but across our Mount Evelyn team you may:
- Create and deliver engaging educational experiences guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and our Learning for Life Curriculum
- Build warm, secure and respectful relationships with children
- Create beautiful, engaging and purposeful learning environments
- Observe children’s learning and contribute to meaningful programming and documentation
- Build genuine partnerships with families
- Champion child safety, inclusion and wellbeing
- Support children with diverse abilities, cultures, backgrounds and needs
- Contribute to our centre philosophy and continuous improvement journey
- Work collaboratively with your team and support the development of others
- For leadership roles, coach and mentor educators, lead quality and compliance, and help establish a strong centre culture from opening day
Who we’re looking for
Qualifications and experience will vary depending on the position, but above all, we’re looking for people who are positive, caring, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about early childhood education. Depending on the role, you may hold or be working towards an ACECQA-approved Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor qualification.
Relevant positions will also require a current Victorian Working with Children Check and appropriate First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications.
Experience is important for our senior and leadership positions, but so is attitude. We want people who contribute ideas, support their teammates, communicate well and want to create an incredible place for children to learn and grow.
