About the role Reporting to the Senior Application Analyst, you will provide proactive support and enhancement of Council's application systems, helping to ensure they remain reliable, secure and aligned to organisational needs. You will assist with application updates, testing, integrations, workflow improvements and documentation, while contributing to solutions that support operational efficiency and positive customer and community outcomes.

You will also support Council's 24/7 on-call model, assisting with incident response and escalation to help maintain business continuity across critical application systems.

What you will be doing

- Providing proactive support for Council's enterprise application systems to minimise disruption and maintain service reliability.
- Assisting with the planning, testing and implementation of application updates and improvements.
- Supporting integrations between core and secondary systems to enable secure and seamless information flow.
- Contributing to customer-focused technology solutions that streamline workflows and improve user experience.
- Developing and maintaining explicit documentation, user guides and training resources.
- Working collaboratively with team members, stakeholders and external partners to deliver practical system outcomes.
- Participating in on-call support, including incident response and escalation when required.





This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community. To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Engineering or a related field; or demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role combined with ongoing professional development
- Experience supporting enterprise application systems within a complex organisational environment
- Experience contributing to customer-focused technology solutions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience with application update cycles, testing protocols and operational support
- Ability to support system integrations and maintain documentation, user guides and training resources
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Current Class C NSW Driver Licence

Offer Details The commencing salary for this position is up to $96.6K. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $112K on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation

- We have a permanent role available
- This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
- We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite
- This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building
