In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, accessible, and respectful assessment processes for participants. By applying trauma-informed and culturally aware approaches, you will help ensure individuals feel heard while turning complex information into clear, consistent assessments that directly inform their support needs.

About your next role

- Conduct support needs assessments by gathering key information directly from participants and their representatives.

- Analyse and synthesize complex information while interpreting external evidence to inform evidence-based decisions regarding support needs.

- Prepare clear, accurate, and defensible written assessment reports.

- Apply operational policies, procedures, and legislation using sound judgment while maintaining a solid participant-centred focus.

- Communicate respectfully and clearly across both virtual and face-to-face channels.

- Identify and escalate complex or high-risk issues in a timely manner.

- Collaborate across internal teams using digital systems, CRM tools, and video conferencing platforms to capture outcomes securely.

- Provide mentoring and guidance to colleagues to foster a culture of learning and growth.

What you will need to bring

- Recognized tertiary qualification in Allied Health (such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Counselling, or Rehabilitation Counselling) or a relevant health discipline (Registered Nurse,



Enrolled Nurse, Education, or NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner).

- Demonstrated experience administering support needs assessments or utilizing person-centred assessment frameworks.

- Strong commitment to trauma-informed practice, cultural safety, and strengths-based approaches.

- Advanced communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to diverse audiences and handle sensitive information.

- Analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate evidence relevance, quality, and sufficiency.

- Digital literacy and experience navigating customer relationship management (CRM) or digital case management systems.

- Strong planning and prioritization skills to manage competing priorities in a energetic environment.

Mandatory Requirements

- Australian Citizenship.

- Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain one).

- Working with Children Check (WWCC).

- NDIS workers screening check (or ability to obtain and maintain one).
