About the role

This role covers day-to-day assembly activities in a hands-on manufacturing environment. The team member will assemble products and sub-assemblies according to technical drawings, work instructions and manuals; complete product testing, calibration, quality checks and record keeping; and support inventory control, warranties and basic repairs as required. The role suits someone with practical assembly experience, strong attention to detail, confidence using hand and power tools, and a willingness to learn and follow established processes.

A forklift licence, basic computer literacy and prior warehouse, stock control or dispatch experience would be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities

- Assemble finished products, components and sub-assemblies using hand tools, power tools, technical instructions, drawings and manuals.
- Test, calibrate, inspect and quality-check completed or refurbished items to ensure they meet company standards before release.
- Maintain accurate records, including stock movements, completed builds, discrepancies, warranty items and repair activity.
- Liaise with the Warehouse Operations Manager, technical team and engineering team regarding stock discrepancies, parts issues, product faults, repairs and warranty claims.
- Meet daily production, warehouse and service targets while maintaining quality, safety and housekeeping standards.

About you

- Trade certificate, technical qualification or equivalent practical experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehousing, servicing or a related hands-on environment.




- Previous experience in assembly, sub-assembly, product testing, repairs, warranty support or a related hands-on technical environment.
- Able to read and follow technical drawings, work instructions and manuals; confident using hand tools, power tools and basic testing or calibration processes.
- Basic computer literacy and previous exposure to warehouse activities such as picking and packing orders, booking transport, receiving and inspecting incoming parts, loading and unloading deliveries, stock control, cycle counts, replenishment, discrepancy reporting and general warehouse organisation are desired skills though not a pre-requisite for the role.
- Forklift licence and forklift operating experience preferred but not essential.
- Reliable, punctual and dependable, with a strong sense of ownership for daily tasks and targets.
- Meticulously quality focused, with the ability to follow technical instructions, drawings and procedures accurately.
- Practical, hands-on and comfortable working with tools, parts, stock and physical warehouse activities.
- Organised, safety conscious and able to maintain clean, efficient and well-controlled work areas.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with explicit communication and willingness to support other areas when required.

Pay: $63,000.00 – $67,000.00 per year
