Position Information
Lilli Pilli PS is in the southern suburbs of Sydney on the surrounding shores of the Port Hacking River. All programs at Lilli Pilli Public School are underpinned by a Student Wellbeing Framework which aims to realise the school's mission that 'Everyone Matters'. The school caters for the individual needs of all 318 students, supported by a strong Learning Support Team that works across its two sites. Despite this, the school has a very well-developed K-6 ethos, fostered through leadership programs and an inclusive philosophy in educational goals, professional development, school planning and evaluation.The staff is committed to educational excellence and strives to provide high quality learning experiences. High expectations at the forefront of school planning along with the goal for all students to develop positive relationships and connections with others. Specific Selection Criteria

Evidence of strong, strategic educational leadership that delivers sustained improvement and innovation.
Highly visible, collaborative and inspiring leader with exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively manage self and teams
Proven ability to build authentic and trusted partnerships across the entire school community, balancing diverse perspectives while maintaining the school’s shared vision.
Demonstrated capacity to engage, motivate and lead staff, students and community to promote a positive and successful school identity and culture
General Selection Criteria
1. High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education
2. Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs
3. High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community
4. Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning
5. Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning
6. Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policy and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.

The classification and remuneration of our school principals is based on school complexity, as measured through each school’s RAM allocation. As part of the ongoing application of the new structure a review of thresholds and outcomes will occur on an annual basis.The principal classification for this school is Principal Level P1for 2026.
