This is a relationship-first role, not a call-centre sales job. You'll be based out of our Melbourne showroom, splitting your time between hosting trade customers there and being out in the field — meeting trade customers where they work, understanding their projects, and making sure they think of us first when a client needs statement planters.

Key responsibilities

Proactively communicating with landscapers, interior designers and architecture studios across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland

Hosting trade customers in our showroom — walking them through the collection, materials and finishes

Identifying opportunities within existing trade accounts to increase order size and frequency

Building a pipeline of new trade relationships through outreach, networking and industry events

Understanding customer projects well enough to recommend the right pieces, not just push volume

Representing TBG at trade shows, design events and industry functions as needed

Keeping accurate records of visits, opportunities and account activity in our CRM

Working closely with our design and operations team to ensure trade customers have a seamless experience from quote through to delivery

About you

Experience in a trade sales, business development or account management role — ideally within landscaping, design, building products, or a related premium/specified product category





Confident and comfortable initiating relationships face-to-face — you enjoy being out and meeting people, not just working the phone

A genuine appreciation for design, materials and craftsmanship; you can speak knowledgeably with designers and landscapers about product

Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own diary and pipeline

Strong communicator, equally at ease in the showroom and on-site

A current driver's licence and your own reliable transport

Based in and able to work from Melbourne
