Store Advisor (Casual) - Emporium, Melbourne

Become an essential part of On’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Retail team as we continue to shape the movement landscape in the heart of Melbourne.

As a Store Advisor at our Emporium location, On will rely on you to deliver an elevated, high-touch retail experience to our community of runners, commuters, and movement enthusiasts. You will serve as the heartbeat of our shop floor embodying On’s core values, guiding guests through our Swiss-engineered product range, and inspiring everyone who steps inside to move.

Your Mission

- Continuously embrace and communicate On's values and brand philosophy in team and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and creating solutions by listening to their needs and improving engagement with our product
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of product technical information and follow On’s global activities and projects (e.g. sustainability efforts, Athlete stories)
- Contribute feedback to store leadership to continuously improve store processes, customer engagement and team happiness
- Help maintain the visual standards in the store to deliver a premium experience
- Assist with inventory management and inbound / outbound product orders
- Other duties as needed

Your story

- Experience within a retail or customer facing work workplace is a strong plus.
- A background in the Running, Fashion or Sports Industry is preferred but not required
- Robust communication, hospitality and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative, learn quickly,



and work both independently and as part of a team
- Eye for maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, climbing stairs, and standing for consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

Peak Season Availability: Flexible availability to work across key retail trading windows, including weekends, key sales events, and the upcoming Christmas and Australian Open peak periods (November through January).

Working alongside your local store crew, regional leaders, and global network, you’ll help redefine premium retail standards and deliver the ultimate WOW factor daily. This team operates out of our Emporium in Melbourne’s lively city center.

Tucked in Cremorne near the business district, On Oceania is just as vibrant and diverse as its surroundings – in fact, most of the team was born elsewhere.
