About the role

Stinson Air South West is looking for a motivated 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentice to join our install and service teams. Whether you are ready to start your apprenticeship or looking for the right company to finish it with, this is a chance to build genuine, well-rounded experience across air conditioning installation, service and refrigeration. You will work alongside qualified tradespeople who will teach you the technical skills, the customer standards and the professional habits that make you the kind of tradesperson that people actually want on their job.

Key responsibilities

- Split system and ducted air conditioning installation
- Residential and light commercial air conditioning servicing
- Preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Refrigerant handling and refrigeration fundamentals
- Reading plans, specs and manufacturer instructions

About you

- Be genuinely committed to completing a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence
- Hold, or be willing to get, a Construction Industry White Card
- Be reliable, on time and ready to work
- Have solid mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving




- Listen to instructions and ask when you are not sure
- Take pride in the quality and the tidiness of your work
- Be respectful with customers and with your team
- Be comfortable in roof spaces, on ladders, on roofs and outdoors in summer
- Present professionally

About us Stinson Air South West installs and services air conditioning and refrigeration right across the South West, from Bunbury through Busselton and Dunsborough to Augusta. Established in 2013 we have looked after thousands of local homes and businesses. Our work spans new home builds for major builders, retail and replacement systems, servicing and maintenance.
