ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a full-time Accountant to join our Moss Vale office. This is a varied role where no two days are necessarily the same. You will work closely with clients and our team across a broad range of accounting and taxation matters, with plenty of opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience.

What you will be doing

- Preparing and lodging tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts
- Preparing financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports
- Assisting clients with tax planning and advisory matters
- Reviewing financial information and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes and efficiencies
- Working directly with clients to gather information and provide practical accounting and taxation advice




- Ensuring work is completed accurately and in accordance with relevant accounting standards and taxation legislation
- Building strong and lasting relationships with clients
- Working collaboratively with our team to deliver outstanding results

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is positive, driven and keen to learn and grow.

You will ideally have

- A degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in helping clients and providing great service
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A professional, friendly and approachable manner
- Experience working in a professional firm
