Description
n
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team on a 14-month fixed term Parental Leave contract, commencing in October 2026.
n
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for managing key financial compliance and operational functions across the business. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and taxation requirements, and contributing to a high performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Leading and mentoring members of the team
n
- Managing financial accounting, including reporting, reconciliations and compliance activities
n
- Overseeing payroll and associated compliance and reporting obligations
n
- Supporting Financial Controller with accounts payable, corporate cards and accounts receivable functions, as required
n
- Maintaining strong financial controls, systems and processes in line with Umwelt requirements
n
- Preparing and reviewing tax obligations and regulatory requirements
n
- Supporting audits and providing financial advice to senior leaders
n
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across finance operations
n
n
About You
n
To be successful, you will bring:
n
n
- CA or CPA qualification
n
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and taxation requirements
n
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing finance professionals
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with previous experience using Employment Hero considered highly desirable
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement
n
