A leading global law firm is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Associate with strong corporate M&A; experience for its New York City office location . The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of experience handling corporate transactions.

This chance offers the chance to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions for leading public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and other strategic investors. The team is consistently involved in high-profile mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other transformative transactions across a broad range of industries.

The ideal candidate will have strong transactional experience, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to take on significant responsibility in a client-facing role.

Responsibilities

- Advise clients on a wide variety of corporate transactions, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Asset and stock purchases
- Private company transactions




- Joint ventures and strategic alliances
- Venture capital and growth equity investments
- Draft, review, and negotiate principal transaction documents and ancillary agreements
- Lead and manage due diligence processes and transaction execution
- Coordinate transaction logistics through signing and closing
- Identify and communicate key deal issues to clients and deal teams
- Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to team development

Requirements:

- Outstanding academic credentials
- Prior experience at a top law firm
- Barred or able to become barred to practice law in the state of New York
