About the role

AMW AUTO EXPERTS is seeking a talented and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our energetic team in Rocklea, Queensland. As a full-time Automotive Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our valued customers.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models, including passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and 4WDs.
- Carry out scheduled services, inspections and maintenance tasks to the highest industry standards.
- Diagnose, service and repair Mahindra vehicles, with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on Mahindra vehicle repair experience required.
- Identify and rectify complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
- Test and replace components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering and suspension systems.
- Liaise with customers, provide progress updates and explain repair recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken.
- Contribute to a safe and compliant workshop environment.

About you

- Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a relevant trade.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably in a workshop environment.




- Minimum 1 year of practical experience diagnosing, servicing and repairing Mahindra vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of Mahindra vehicle systems, components and common mechanical faults.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
- A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation.
