About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Junior Sales Assistant to join our sales team at in Morayfield QLD . This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to launch or develop your career in automotive sales. As a Junior Sales Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced sales team to support the sales process, learn industry best practices, and develop the skills necessary to become a successful sales professional.

This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

- Greet and welcome customers to the dealership, creating a warm and professional first impression
- Assist senior sales consultants and Manager with customer enquiries
- Support the preparation of quotations and sales documentation under supervision
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales leads using our dealership management system
- Help maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming workplace
- Follow up with customers on leads and enquiries as directed by senior team members
- Support the team with administrative tasks including scheduling test drives and managing appointments




- Support the team with all reconditioning and advertising needs including photography

What we're looking for

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and genuine interest in the automotive and sales industry
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and learn from experienced colleagues
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality with a professional appearance
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with digital systems
- A valid clean Australian manual driving licence
- Willingness to listen and learn from experienced management
- Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of vehicles or a genuine passion for automobiles is desirable
- Automotive sales involve Saturday with a rostered day off mid week
- Local resident
