About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive mechanical issues while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a mechanical workshop
- Has sound mechanical knowledge and strong diagnostic skills
- Holds additional certificates or qualifications (advantageous, but not essential)
- Is a permanent Australian resident
- Holds a current full Australian driver's licence
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is reliable, motivated and takes pride in their work
- Works well as part of a friendly and team-oriented team
Roles & Responsibilities
- Service and repair a wide range of automotive mechanical issues
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently and accurately
- Liaise with the owner to ensure daily targets and workloads are achieved
- Communicate professionally with staff, suppliers and customers
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workshop
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Complete all work to a high standard of quality and professionalism
