Barista

Teddy Espresso Smithfield - Y TWO K PTY LTD, is seeking for an experienced barista to join our passionate and dynamic team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible to serve quality cups of coffee with friendly customer service-ultimately, we are thriving for the best coffee experience!

Responsibilities

- Daily maintenance of coffee equipment including opening and cleaning.
- Monitor and dial coffees served to maintain the utmost quality of each and every cup.
- Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, adhering to our recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure presentation of the final products up to standard including latte art.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work-station , ensuring compliance with sanitation regulation.
- Efficient communication with team members for smooth workflow.
- Read the space and team play for effective and efficient workflow.
- Uphold Teddy Espresso's brand image and values at all times.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in specialty coffee roasters.
- Extensive understandings in specialty coffee including Origins,



Processing Methods, Varietals and Roasting.
- Ability to cup and score in accordance with SCA standard.
- Knowledge to create brew recipes with the factors of Grind Size, Does, Yield, Brew Time and Temperature.
- Knowledge of current and past coffee culture.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Robust customer service skill and problem solving skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Salary Range $70,000 Baristas with a passion towards coffee, please apply!
