About the Role

We are seeking experienced Blasthole Drillers to join our team working on a 2:1 roster ex Perth. As a Blasthole Driller, you will be responsible for safely operating drill rigs and delivering high-quality blast holes that meet design specifications. Working closely with Drill Supervisors, Shotfirers and Blast Crew, you will play a critical role in setting up every blast for success.

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Blasthole Drillers to join our growing operations across Western Australia. This is an opportunity to work with a business that combines industry-leading technology, operational excellence and a team committed to delivering superior drill and blast outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate blast hole drill rigs in production environments
- Drill holes accurately to design specifications
- Read and interpret drill plans and blast designs
- Conduct rig pre-starts, inspections and daily maintenance checks




- Complete drill plods and reports accurately
- Monitor drilling performance and ground conditions
- Perform consumable management and bit changes
- Identify and report equipment defects and operational hazards
- Maintain clean, organised and safe work areas
- Work collaboratively with Shotfirers, Blast Crew and site personnel
- Contribute to safe and productive drilling operations

Experience We are looking for experienced operators who can demonstrate:

- Minimum 2 years' blast hole drilling experience
- Down-the-Hole (DTH) or Top Hammer drill rig operation
- Drill pattern reading and design adherence
- Consumable management and bit changing
- Experience working in open pit mining environments
- Commitment to safe and effective drilling practices

Requirements for the Role:

- Current Driver's Licence - C Class (essential)
- HR Truck Driver's Licence (desirable)
- Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Qualification (highly desirable)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance - Within 3 Months - (essential)
- Point of hire is Perth
