Breakfast Chef

Kaska Eatery

We’re looking for a self-motivated, proactive and business-minded Breakfast Chef to join the Kaska Eatery team.

This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with the owner to oversee the breakfast kitchen, maintain high food and service standards, and continuously improve the way the kitchen operates.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee daily breakfast service and kitchen operations
- Work closely with the owner on menu development, food quality and business goals
- Take initiative and identify ways to improve kitchen efficiency, food quality and customer experience
- Manage preparation, ordering, stock levels and minimise food wastage
- Lead and support the kitchen team during service
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
- Ensure consistency across all dishes and service
- Take ownership of the kitchen and be proactive in solving problems without needing to be directed

This role is ideal for someone who doesn't just want to cook, but wants to take ownership, contribute ideas and play an active role in building the business. Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38.0 per week
