About the role
DFP Recruitment is seeking a skilled and organised Administrator to join one of our key clients in Banyo. This role is pivotal to the smooth operation of their office, providing essential administrative support that enables their business to run efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining office administrative systems, including filing, record-keeping, and document management
- Scheduling meetings, appointments and events, and coordinating calendars for multiple team members
- Providing general clerical support, including typing, data entry, and preparing correspondence
- Answering and directing telephone enquiries and managing incoming communications
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment
- Coordinating travel arrangements and accommodation bookings as required
- Supporting the organisation of meetings and events, including minute-taking and follow-up actions
- Processing invoices, expense claims and general accounting documentation
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth administrative operations
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection protocols
What we're looking for:
- Proven administrative experience in a professional office environment, preferably 2+ years
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in business correspondence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks and documentation
- Professional telephone manner and friendly customer service approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative setting
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and support across different areas
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in administration, business or office management are advantageous
