St Joseph’s Catholic College is looking for an energetic, reliable and friendly Canteen Coordinator to join our College community and help keep our students and staff fuelled, happy and ready to learn!

About the Role

Working alongside our Canteen Manager, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our College canteen, providing friendly and efficient service to students and staff.

This is a term-based position commencing immediately.

You’ll help ensure the canteen runs smoothly, maintains high standards of food safety and hygiene, and remains a welcoming place for our school community.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, approachable and enjoys working with young people.
- Energetic, reliable and well organised.
- A great team player who can also work independently.

Passionate about food,



customer service and creating a positive experience.
- Knowledgeable about food safety, hygiene and safe food-handling practices.
- Experienced in hospitality, catering or a similar environment.

It would be great if you also have:

- Experience and/or relevant qualifications in hospitality.
- Food Safety and Food Handling training.
- Previous experience working in a school canteen or similar workplace.

Essential Requirements

- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Current National Police Certificate (NPC).
