Super Easy has recently established a large warehouse facility in Sunshine to support its modular storage operations.

The facility comprises more than 6,500 m² across two main warehouse tenancies, together with office and amenities areas, showroom, loading and unloading areas and associated facilities.

As part of establishing and improving the site, Super Easy is undertaking an extensive renovation and fit-out program. This includes the full renovation of the existing residential area at the front of the property, including flooring, kitchen and bathroom works, windows, plastering, painting and internal finishes.

Further works are also being undertaken throughout the warehouse and office areas, including staff facilities,

kitchen areas, internal partitions, façade improvements and modifications to improve the layout and use of the facility.

Beyond the initial renovation and fit-out program, the business has an ongoing requirement for carpentry work associated with its modular units, including modifying, cutting down, repairing and maintaining modules as required.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Super Easy is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team in 3-11 Market rd, Sunshine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out carpentry, construction, renovation and fit-out works across Super Easy's Sunshine facility, as well as ongoing carpentry work associated with the modification, repair and maintenance of the company's modular units.

The Carpenter will work across different stages of the site's development and ongoing operations, interpreting plans, preparing and installing building components, completing internal and external carpentry works,



and modifying and repairing modules according to operational requirements.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The main duties of the position include:

 Reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans and specifications and determining materials and installation requirements.

 Measuring, setting out, cutting, assembling and installing timber and other building components using hand and power tools.

 Constructing and installing timber framing, partitions, walls and other structural and non-structural components.

 Installing doors, door frames, windows, architraves, skirting boards, flooring and other internal finishing components.

 Carrying out carpentry works associated with kitchen, bathroom, office and amenities renovations and fit-outs.

 Performing warehouse fit-out works, including internal partitions and modifications required to improve the use and layout of the facility.

 Modifying, cutting down, repairing and maintaining modular units to suit operational and project requirements.

 Repairing, replacing and modifying existing building components and coordinating carpentry activities with other trades while maintaining safe and high-quality workmanship.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE To be considered for this position, applicants must have:





 A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

 Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent relevant trade qualification.

 Relevant practical experience in carpentry, construction, renovation and/or commercial fit-out works.

 Demonstrated knowledge of construction drawings, measurements, setting-out, timber framing,

installation methods and carpentry hand and power tools.

 Experience completing internal carpentry and finishing works, including doors, frames, partitions,

flooring, skirting, architraves and associated building components.

 Ability to undertake modification and repair works and adapt existing structures or components to suit project requirements.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team while coordinating effectively with other trades.

 Strong technical, organisational and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.

 Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements within construction environments.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

 Full time position

 38 hours per week

 Salary of AUD $80,000.00 plus superannuation

 Work location: 3-11 Market rd, Sunshine

 Proposed commencement: AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
